Died peacefully aged 71 years. Much loved brother, uncle, cousin and friend who will be very sadly missed.

A requiem mass will be held at St Joseph & St Laurence Church, Kirkby, L32 7PZ, on Friday 24th January 2025 at 12.00 noon followed by cremation at Thornton Crematorium, L23 1TP.

Family flowers only please but donations to Woodlands Hospice.

Rest in peace Mr Gaffney. Thank you for giving me confidence to sing with the church choir for all these years. Your musical ability touched so many lives and I’ll never forget you. A true gentleman and friend who will be solely missed. The choir will never be the same again. God bless. Xx
